RESURRECTION THEATRE

Cole Black can’t feel sadness or anger—but somehow, he changes everyone around him.

Told through the eyes of a grumpy Vietnam veteran who’d rather yell at kids than connect with them, this story follows an unexpected friendship that turns bitterness into something beautiful.

As Cole navigates a world of emotions he doesn’t understand, he transforms enemies into friends, challenges the people closest to him, and reshapes every life he touches. A heartfelt, surprising journey about connection, change, and seeing the world differently.

Who we are

Striving to produce an exceptional intimate theatre adventure. Like any theatre company, we started with a desire to tell a story. With the help of California Stage and a few friends, that desire was met...and Resurrection Theatre Company was born. As the years have passed, a vast bastion of local talent has come into this company, leaving their marks with their performances, lighting, designs, direction, and devotion to the shared human experience of theatre. The love and energy of these people allowed us to present wonderful works of art.
