The Rimers of Eldritch
October 31st - Nov 22nd 2025

By Lanford Wilson Closing the season is the haunting and poetic The Rimers of Eldritch by Lanford Wilson, a deeply moving exploration of small-town American life. Set in the decaying Midwestern town of Eldritch, the play unravels a mysterious murder while exposing the secrets and moral contradictions that lurk beneath the surface of this seemingly sleepy community. As the story unfolds, themes of judgment, hypocrisy, and isolation come to light, reflecting the darker aspects of Americana. Wilson’s masterful dialogue and fragmented structure create a patchwork of voices that echo the collective struggles of rural America, where the lines between good and evil, truth and illusion blur. Directed by Aerin Salls Morneau
The God of Hell
The God of Hell by Sam Shepard
is a dark, satirical piece that echoes the playwright’s signature exploration of the American psyche. Set on a quiet Midwestern farm, the story follows a couple whose lives are upended when a mysterious visitor arrives, bringing with him the shadows of government secrecy and paranoia. Shepard's gripping play probes the undercurrents of fear and control in modern American life, offering biting commentary on the dangers of blind patriotism and authoritarianism. With its tense atmosphere and sharp humor, The God of Hell is a bold critique of the American Dream unraveling in a time of increasing political and social unrest. Cast includes Jake Brooks, Lucinda Otto, Jason Kaye and Rand Doerning. Directed by Shaylene Riffel.
Trigger Warning: This play contains intense themes, including psychological manipulation, political oppression, and unsettling violence. It features strong language, disturbing imagery, and moments of emotional and physical distress. Viewer discretion is advised.
Wild Dust, the Musical
Music by Dennis Poore | Book by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus | Lyrics by Flip Kobler Spring brings a delightful contrast with Wild Dust, the Musical, a rip-roaring celebration of the untamed American West. Set in a dusty, small-town saloon during a violent dust storm, this lively and humorous musical tells the story of a group of women left to their own devices while the men are away. With an engaging score by Dennis Poore, and witty lyrics and book by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus, Wild Dust highlights the resilience, humor, and strength of women on the frontier. It's a musical romp that celebrates the grit and independence at the heart of the American spirit, blending old-fashioned fun with a feminist twist that will have audiences tapping their toes and cheering for more. Directed by Caleb Larrosa-Colombo and Jesse Larrosa-Colombo
